The land of this project is in Maklavan, Fouman, Guilan province. The purpose of this project is to create a space for spending leisure time in it. Based on the land’s dimensional limitations (50*10), we tried to keep the privacy of next plaque on the East, and also the relation with the approach of regional, the nature of Guilan’s architecture is considered:
- Materials in the form of symbols are the sign of Guilan’s houses. For instance, concrete beams of the ceiling are built obliquely. There are oblique beams on the wooden beams and the wooden ceilings.
- The entrance is designed in a way that you should pass the bridge for reaching the entrance door. The bridge is located on the pond in the measure of 8*4 that is a reminder of Guilan’s villages.
- The main porch of the building on the first floor has wooden beams. There is an integrated glass on these wooden beams so that the people can use the porch on rainy days too.
- There would be a nice breeze with the use of voids in all of the spaces (bedrooms, living rooms, …) that is significantly important in favorable climatic factors.
- Plan dimensions and height are designed so that the winter sun can shine to the end of the plan and in summer, it can shine in one meter of internal space.
- The situation of this plan on the site is a reminder of Guilan’s native architecture. The design limitations are related to the land dimensions (50*10). According to the main view of this project (south and west) and preserving the scenery, we have to keep the distance at a rate of 2 meters from the west. Also, the design width is reduced to 8 meters that are a challenge in our design.
